Mid 2018-Early 2019, Lil Uzi Vert expressed his label issues with his fans. He had verses cut from final products, and had songs he was not able to drop due to this. Simultaneously he was getting his music leaked. Lil Uzi stated “… it took me two years because when I was gonna drop it like I usually drop it, all of my music got leaked…” Uzi also admitted that the final product of the 2020 Eternal Atake wasn’t where he wanted it to be. He released it due to the wait, and fan pressure.
